He was grown in and born from both a womb and a thigh (BTW – The Fisher King of the Grail Legends had a wounded thigh. It was cut open in a joust!!)

Virbius (Roman) was originally known as Hippolytus. Twice Born.

I’ve had to take down my dusty Latin dictionary to check these two following facts. And I quote…

VIR in Latin means : Full Grown Man.

BIS in Latin means : Twice. In Two Ways.

There are those who postulate (myself included) that the most famous mother in the history of history gave birth to twins. Via Caesarean Section. Grown in the womb, birthed through a cut. Twice.

As a side thought : Tamar of Georgia was not only called the Queen of Queens but also the King of Kings.
