Let’s start with Zelda/Doom.

I was in the local supermarket the other day and there were two blokes behind the plastic talking about Zelda. One of them looked at me, looked back at his workmate and said…”She’ll have no idea what we are talking about!” Smirk.

The last game that I played for hours on end was Doom.

Ooops. I got a 2 minute lecture on how good Doom was and then the fact that my till person preferred Zelda.

I KNOW EXACTLY what Alexander is talking about here because I bought that copy of Country Life with the Shakespeare article in it. I’ve just been to my tiny room/library to find and photo said magazine only to discover that is has been invaded by many computer guts, many more computer consoles from SNES to Gameboy to Switches. Tools to mend consoles and a teetering pile of games. Boxes. Bubble wrap. European and UK chargers. My son’s business has invaded MY room.

And I couldn’t get to the shelf to find the magazine.

AND — I’m the one who packages everything up every morning ready to be posted. What a f…..g LIBERTY!!!!
