Well. That’s distressing!!!

When researching, I go back as far as the sources available to me at a certain point in time can take me.

Today finds me on page 1 of a book printed in the 19th c (an English translation of the original French…woohoo!)

It starts well. Using the ancient Greek sources (?) still extant.

Only 703 pages left.

Sometimes a half hour yt video is easier. But, then again, those are usually of a really, incredibly, mind-numbingly low standard. JMHO :o)
