Setting The Bar

To set a high/low standard for something: They’ve set the bar high in terms of what people expect from them. Set the bar low at first, then amaze the audience with a fantastic performance.

By the age of 12 I was the tallest girl in the class. (That was 1000 years ago. Girls now are much taller!)

So I got picked for the High Jump team.

Every time that I jumped from the right, I failed. So I jumped from the left. GOD’S Honest.

Never won anything but it taught me a valuable lesson…being the one and only person in the competition who jumped from the left :o)

Mum was left-handed (?)

I’m now CERTAIN that the so-called “Truth Community” set the bar far too lowon purpose. In order to :

Set the bar low at first, then amaze the audience with a fantastic performance.

FOSBURY FLOP (FF) all round :o)
