The Quality of Mercy.

In order to prove a date, I’m chasing a colour. The trouble is – I don’t know which colour! But I’ve a very strong feeling that the answer lies with the 16th (or maybe 17th) century Venetian artists.

This line of thought took me to Shakespeare (The Merchant of Venice) which then took me to Isaak Asimov and the two hige volumes that he wrote about the Bard’s Plays.

It was all going so well until I injured the thumb on my right hand and couldn’t write for over a week. Couldn’t take/make my usual madcap notes with squiggles and secret codes that only I understand…sometimes. LOL :o)
