From just after Christmas until March, himself went to NORTH Norway with the AMF (L)

The “when I” story started at minus 10 degrees below zero.

Now…….many years later…..the “when I” story starts at minus 57 degrees zero. Even the kids roll their eyes.

Picture this. Men stripped naked and sharing a sleeping bag in a snow hole.

I can. When on “training” in the UK in January sub zero temperatures we were ordered to take off as many clothes as we could in order to sleep in our sleeping bags, all bunched together. Sooooo counter-intuitive but RIGHT!
