Woohooo!

The local Tesco is right by one of the two rivers that run through the town. It is loaded with wild ducks, geese, swans, seagulls, jackdaws, crows etc.

My family has a pet-hate that makes all our collective blood boil.

What?

You know those totally, brain-dead, selfish, always rushing, sod y’all “things” that don’t have a second to spare so will WILLINGLY run their car over a duck waddling across the road?

Bastards!!!

Anyway – today I’d finished my shopping (having been given EVILS by everyone else in masks) and was pushing the trolley to my car when this totally crazy, middle-aged woman with pink/red dyed hair, combat boots and NO MASK was stopping all the traffic to let the dad, mum and baby ducklings cross the road safely.

I smiled at her and she smiled at me.

MY kind of woman :o)
