I LOVE this series.

Part One is funny for the mildly manic like me.

Adam is the world famous *American” stage magician for whom JC creates illusions.

Adam is totally flummoxed when his older Scottish sister turns up at his home and destroys his street cred!

Adam introduces Maddy and Jonathon to Hewie Harper, a blind jazz musician, who has regained his sight through surgery but maintains the pose of blindness for professional reason. Adam’s aghast when his dotty Scottish older sister unexpectedly drops in. She joins Jonathon and other nature lovers on a “badger watch” from a blind, and on the way home (back to the hide after having a pee) witnesses a murder through a window. With her binoculars she can clearly recognize the murderer, whom she identifies through a photograph, but everyone is shocked when they find out who it is.

P.S. A BLIND is also a HIDE. Where twitchers and watchers congregate to……watch the wildlife(?)

BTW : Dotty older sis has to leave the hide to take a call of nature. Or have a pee.

P.P.S. The detective here has a VERY strong Ulster accent. FACT!
