Beef Wellington. Mmmm. My eldest son’s FAVOURITE meal ever.

I do not cook it now because fillet steak is beyond my budget.

And – we (me and son) both have vivid memories of me cooking it for his birthday one year, getting involved in a conversation about how to assemble it, and then finding Tsar dog, front paws on the kitchen table, big teeths and sloppy tongue very close to the steak, pate and prosciutto ham that I always used. D’oh!

I find this GR “stage” a bit addictive and horrifying at the same time.
