I can/can’t blame her.

She had her first legitimate child aged 17. Second one aged 19. By the time the third one came along she was in her late 20’s.

She’d never had a proper life. Abandoned as a new-born and adopted by a couple who regularly introduced her to multiple “uncles.”

Her actual first child was born when she was 14/15. Via an “uncle.”

No wonder she put her kids into private boarding schools. She’d married a soldier and 90% of the school fees were paid by HM Forces.

She regrets EVERYTHING – now that her children are so distant and formal with both mother and father.
