OMG. I wasn’t going to go into Firestarter by The Prodigy but today MADE me.

We have a purpose built brick fire pit in the garden where we BURN everything we can.

I’m Very Strict about burning every rose prunings. Not good for the compost heap because roses carry certain diseases.

Anyhoo. Today the FIRESTARTER was youngest son. But he had an unexpected problem.

I knew the noise. It’s happened before. When an aerosol can gets mixed into the burning pile. POW. ZAP. BANG. Oops.

He reckons he’s deaf in one ear now. Drama King.

But it is freaking scary. Bless ‘im.
