I have always called this plant Borage.

It is now rampant in my garden and I’ve perma-banned the man with the strimmer from cutting it down.

WE nearly came to blows this morning !

Then I had a funny feeling that I might be protecting the wrong plant. So I researched.

OK. I was close. It is a member of the borage family. And closely related to comfrey – which I’ve grown here for years.

So I’m in the clear. Especially now that I know what it can be used for :o)
