We are so blessed to be living in this house. It has everything that I’ve ever dreamed of.
Including a proper Victorian Pantry.
The opposite side of the image above has three shelved cupboards with double glazed doors where the “war reserves” are stored.
That’ll be the tins, dry goods, kilner jars of pickles, random tools and empty glass jars etc.
BUT : me being me (!) saw shelves and had to fill them with books and crap.
We go from Poirot to Cookbooks to Naturally Beautiful Skin to Waffen SS to Sherlock to Gardening to the Falklands War to Aromatherapy.
Hey. This is what I do. They’ve learned to live with it.
:o)
P.S. The ceiling is about 13/14 feet high so there’s plenty of room above the cupboards which are filled with…………BOOKS.
And stupid fancy kitchen equipment that I was stupid enough to buy and could never use.
