She’s so sweet.

The Harlow Carr roses in my veg patch are beginning to bloom. They have the most glorious, heady scent ever.

She phones me…I’ve just made a Chocolate Chip Sponge Cake from our chickens’ eggs. So many eggs every day now that the kids are away. Can I bring it round for you lot?

She left with a bunch of my roses. The least I could do after her husband saved me yesterday :o)
