August has always been the time when I prepared for whatever a UK winter could throw at us.

I’ve been blessed with a windfall (out of the blue) that will allow me to buy oil for the Rayburn to cook with and heat all our water 24/7 and logs and coal for the wood burner.

And a new laptop on top. Woohoooo!
