Tomorrow is the 1st of May. May Day. My youngest son’s birthday.

I love May for many reasons but it also brings the huge lilac tree just outside the back door into full bloom.

Lilac is intense, beautiful, short-lived but forever returning.

And early Happy May Day t’ y’all.
