A side note before starting :

I went to pick something up from our local surgery today and was stunned to be greeted by HUGE yellow notices on all the doors and windows.

Please do NOT enter this surgery unless you are wearing a face mask.

For once – I practised what I preach (!) and said not a word out of place as I marched in minus face mask. I waited. And waited. And waited for someone to say something/throw me out/ring the police.

Nope. Utter silence. Woohooo :o)

The Ravens of Dinefwr is the first in a series of novels-in-progress set in the early 12th century.
