I’ve just been reminded by s-i-l that when we stayed at the Savoy Hotel together, we walked from the Strand to somewhere (Covent Garden?) via a back street and just happened to meet Mr John Inman.

We both smiled and said, “Hello, Mr Inman.”

He was so sweet and friendly and humble.

The video below will offend MANY today but this series was standard 1970’s UK, Saturday night, TV viewing.

And NOTHING can change that FACT!
