My house is a bit strange (?)

When it’s as hot as it is today, the house is very cool and comfortable.

When it’s freezing cold as it is in Deep Mid Winter, the house is colder inside than out.

Go figure.

We bought the DVD box set of this series a while back. A few reasons…we’d seen it as kids. And we actually met Windsor Davies and the little man with the amazing singing voice (name escapes me) in Woolworths in Salisbury as they were doing a publicity tour.

About 10 minutes of episode one watched and the whole thing has never been touched again.

But Melvyn Hayes as Gloria was ….! And Windsor Davies, with that deep as Richard Burton Welsh voice, was ….!

Anyhoo and bytheby.
