Remembering Miss Woodhouse

She was our English Language/Literature teacher – way back when.

Poor woman. She must’ve been in her early/mid 20’s when she encountered our class! OMG…and she had a temper.

I remember the time she broke into Middle English, reciting Chaucer to a group of 11/12 years olds and we all tittered mightily. Our bad :o(

And life got even worse for her…a couple of decades later she (still a MISS) taught both my sons and their mates EngLit/Lan.

I think she’s retired now. Happily, I hope. I still see her sometimes but never speak.

P.S. How many accents can you hear here? I hear Scottish/Irish and German. Shrug.
