I’ve just taken part in a live chat (because I’m feeling Impish today!) where the chittychatterers were all proclaiming their pride at telling the Census Taker to GFHimself!!!!

I’m #banned from the channel but that doesn’t stop me. I made a comment about how the CENSUS is the history of OUR lives left for those who come later.

I’ve just posted photos of my Grandfather. I never “knew” him because of divorce. But I now KNOW that he was MY maternal grandfather and I can SEE him….right here. Right now.

A strange thing happened.

After the video aired, some commenters who regularly comment claimed that CENSUS destruction was a nightmare for “US” genealogists.
