P.S. Eldest boy and I were conversing this morning about regional accents. When we moved here, he used to get regularly kicked under the school desk for speaking #posh.

I countered with….imagine leaving Scotland aged 8 and going to a Lincolnshire village school with about 50 pupils in total and being called a Gypo/Pikey because no one could understand MY accent!
