From day 1 this website has been mine own day-by-day, In Real Life StoryBoard.

I had a set of projects to do. And – right from the outset – I admitted that I had NO IDEA how it would all fit together. But I KNEW that it would.

I am a writer who has spent many years studying both the Art and the Craft of my trade.

A STORY must follow a TRUE line through all of the peaks and troughs/the light and the dark/the love and the fear/the loyalty and the betrayal.

Writers start with a burning NEED to tell a tale. We have – maybe – a quarter or less of it in our heads. Then we just research, mull over, WRITE.

Years and Decades later. Step by Step. Day by Day. A TRUE, totally integrated, emotional, visceral, glorious, universal STORY comes to life!

The Ravens of Dinefwr is the first in a series of novels-in-progress set in the early 12th century. It follows the dispossessed members of the South Wales House of Dinefwr from their origins in Deheubarth to the centre of the known world, Jerusalem. Come and be my fellow Far-Farer.
