Orphic Myth

This was my subject of today.

So – I go from Orphic Myth to Orpheus and Eurydice to Katharine of Aragon and Henry the VIIIth to Christ and Mary Magdalene.

How?

It’s ALL a story. A tale. A MYTH about a woman being sent to Hell. Rescued from Hell by a man. And then being sent back to hell.

Noli Me Tangere, said Christ to the Magdalene. Don’t touch me.

Henry divorced Kate.

Orpheus disobeyed the order not to look back.

P.S. The poem Orpheus, above, is from Act III, Scene I of Henry VIII by someone called Shakespeare :o)

P.P.S. How to pronounce Eurydice. This is mine own personal self improvement programme. I hate saying these Greek names wrong :o(
