Dad was an OCD dresser. Windsor knot in his tie. Immaculately ironed shirts. Immaculately polished shoes. Immaculate finger nails. He was the one who taught me how to judge a man. All he said was : Three things will tell you. The shirt. The shoes. The fingernails.

Mum was always perfectly dressed and coiffured and made up too. She NEVER left the house without mascara and lipstick and perfect hair.

I’ve failed them BOTH :o(
