I’m very fond of Simon’s Cat Cartoons.

We have had six cats. Meggie. Charlie. DeeDee, Blue, Basil, Meggie2. ALL of them rescued.

Meggie2 died earlier this year and we have been DESPERATE to rescue another cat or several. BUT – since the stupid started, all RSPCA, Cat Rescue, Cat Rehome, Cat for Sale, “Puhlease take my Cat away from me Now” cries for help have DISAPPEARED!

And Tsar misses the 4-he-grew-up-with cats as much as we do. They used to fight over his bed, eat his food, demand to be brushed when I was brushing him. Snuggle up with him, allow him to eat their food, let him lick their “bed-hair” into shape.

FFS. I live in the country. Farmers have cats to catch rats who have kittens who need homing. Yes? NO!

Sigh.
