My home is Grade II Listed – without the star.

My advice…unless you have gazillions in the bank and Cast Iron balls…NEVER, EVER try to renovate a Listed Building in the UK.

Years ago we spent £900 times 4 to have Official Bat Surveys done here. The only thing ever found was a, one, one single dropping from Pipistrelle Bat. It totally changed the Architect’s Plans!

6 years on. The stables are STILL only half renovated :o(

Add a Star and the pain just keeps rising.
