Bangers & Mash & Onion Gravy

I’ll start this with the thought that no-one will believe me.

Why?

Prior experiences. But never mind. Not bovvered. You live your life & I’ll live mine.

Easter Sunday in the UK is usually a full roast lamb dinner (a teeny leg of lamb in the sooperdoopermarket retails at about £20 and rising) with about 20 peeps around the table.

Today – here – it’s Bangers ‘n’ Mash ‘n’ Onion Gravy.

P.S. Bangers ?

The term bangers supposedly originated during World War I, when meat shortages resulted in sausages’ being made with a number of fillers, notably water, that caused them to explode when cooked.
