I just got lucky.
The garden centre down the hill is no longer owned and operated by the Crowder family (since 1789)
It’s now part of a wholesale homogenised UK company :o(
Regardless.
I went this morning and spent a whole £10 on 7 plants. All but one bought from the clearance sale.
The princely sum of 25 pence got a small pot of Calibrachoa … of which I’ve never heard.
But I have the trusty friend Google to consult and it told me that this is a new plant, developed in the 1990’s.
OK.
It’s tiny and a bit brown around the edges but all it needs is lots of love and attention and good food and water and……I’ll get a MILLION BELLS.
Woohoo. Kerching :o)
