Another reason to despise what Jo Rowlingpin did to history through her uber-successful books.

There are links via MS History that tie Flamel to René d’Anjou (son of Yolande d’Aragon & Louis of Naples)

René d’Anjou was (allegedly) a close companion of Jehanne d’Arc. Some say that he was one of the knights that accompanied her from Lorraine to Chinon for her first meeting with the DAUPHIN who eventually became Charles VII.

Side Note : The Dauphin became a ward of Yolande d’Aragon (René’s mother) after the death of his father MAD Charles VI and the disgrace of his mother, Isabeau of Bavaria.
