Medieval Scandinavian sources mention a place called Jotunheim, near Canguard (Kiev) inhabited by Jotir. Jotir was the Scandinavian term for Goths/Scythians Medieval English sources located Jotunheim in Scythia. Jotunheim translates as Land of the Giants.
