Above is an image of Highgate Cemetery. One boundary of my garden separates us from the village cemetery.

What is written on virtually every headstone? Smack my head.

Date of birth. Date of death.

The “ancient Egyptian” zodiac I’m learning to decipher contains three dates. Two of which are DOB/DOD. The third I’ll go into another time.

Here is indicated – via the dates – the headstone of a 12 year old child :o(
