But if you feel the need to understand a few things…maybe research/read/study/understand/UNDERSTAND as in not believe in or know UNDERSTAND what CG was teaching us all.
Sigmund Freud saw the potential in CG, they worked in the same field. Psychology. Freud promoted CG as his successor. But – they disagreed on the fundamentals. A huge SCHISM (!?)
Freud was 3D Dick-led. All Oedipus and incest and SEXUAL FRUSTRATION etc. Barf :o(
Jung was spiritual/connected to source/honest/internal/truthful.
I was absolutely STUNNED when my youngest studied Psychology at college and when questioned by ME about Jung he replied…“Who is Jung? We study Freud.”

You are so right. They don’t teach Jung at the university level, at least in introductory courses. Or his utterly brilliant assistant, Marie-Louise Von Franz. Freud is still taught, but with lots of caveats. My daughter had intro Psych several years ago and I had the same reaction as you. My personal Jung interpreter is James Hillman (who is also not taught). If you want a terrific youtube channel that features a large number of Hillman lectures on Jung and Jung’s ideas, look up Intellectual Deep Web. My favorite Sunday afternoon is knitting and listening to the talks Hillman gave:-)

You still amaze me, Greta! I read every post you write, every day (through my email). I watch almost every video:-) My appreciation for the horizon line of history is ever-deepening because of the steady work that you do. No one should ever underestimate your command of history and the streams of knowledge that flow through you from your past, present and future. Just keep writing, always:-)
