Been there. Done this.

Walked from the Louvre to Arc de Triomphe/Champs-Élysées.

And because we had such a hard time driving into Paris (because all flights had been cancelled. Something to do with an Icelandic Volcano) we were smart enough to ask for the quickest route out.

Via l’Étoile aka STAR. Yay.

Not yay.

I was the navigator. Not allowed to close my eyes in moments of pure terror.

Sis-in-law drove us. But she’d lived in London for several years so…..!
