Strange that this is a Ukrainian recipe. Or not so strange!

I love making this. It always reminds me of Aleksandr, my fictional Kievan ‘Rus character who carries a deep dark secret inside...from Kiev to Turkey to Norway to Scotland to Ireland to Wales… that is not revealed until the end – 1136.

P.S. Youngest keeps telling me to watch his boxset of MadMen. I might. One day :o)
